The Academic Mentoring team at ARU London provides one-to-one support for students who need help with their studies, including those with dyslexia or general learning difficulties.

At ARU London we offer many routes of support to our students, whether it is internal or external. One of the services that we offer is called Academic Mentoring.

Academic Mentoring aims to effectively improve and develop skills that are relevant to your studies or future development. You can arrange one-to-one support in reading, writing and presentation skills, research, time management, assignment preparation and assignment planning. Sessions can be tailored to you in order to meet your needs and, if necessary, the team will also refer you to other departments that can assist you further.

To arrange a meeting with an Academic Mentor, you will need to get a referral from your Personal Development Tutor, or self-refer by completing in a self-referral form (available at the icentre).
