We have been working closely with your Students’ Union and Course Reps to make sure your voice is heard. Because of your feedback, we have been able to make some big changes to your experience at ARU London.


  • You said you wanted more access to more plug sockets to charge your devices
  • We have installed more charging points in communal areas at both Farringdon and East India 

  • You campaigned for a dedicated space to meditate and pray
  • We have committed to providing a Students’ Union-led quiet room at both Farringdon and East India

  • You said you needed audio recordings of your lectures
  • All lectures are now recorded on audio and video for playback

  • You said the WiFi speed was too slow
  • We have invested in Eduroam, a faster and more reliable internet service which you can access at universities and libraries across the UK

  • You said you needed more flexibility around meetings with ARU and SU staff
  • We will now always try and offer appointments through online meeting platforms, such as zoom

  • You wanted access to your own personal logins for the computers to securely save documents and access your emails
  • We have now created individual login accounts for all students to use on the computers onsite

  • You wanted more hard-copy books available
  • We are now providing more complementary texts available to loan from the LRC

  • You said you wanted better support for students of different faiths
  • We are working with your Students’ Union to create an inter-faith student committee
