The level 6 Tourism and Events Management students have successfully delivered 17 events, which have been a mix of online and in-person events. Online events included: Quizzes, an online tour, an event industry talk, an educational session about Moldova, a cultural cooking class, and fitness & health and well-being events. In-person events included: Charity events, a historic pub crawl, a Christmas Market, a local tour, walking along the River Thames, the Women in Leadership Panel Session, and Student Christmas Party. The 4 charity events did amazingly and between them raised just over £700 for Crisis, MIND, Cancer Research and London Zoo charities. Well done to all the students involved in producing these events, we look forward to attending future student-led events.
