APL/APEL Application
ARU London, in common with other higher education institutions, recognises that some students have a wealth of experience and other qualifications which could provide an exemption from some of the modules which form a programme of study.
Potential students are encouraged to apply for Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) if they can demonstrate the learning outcomes of a module (or modules) have been met. This application must be supported by appropriate evidence; usually in the form of certificates relating to previous courses and qualifications.
ARU London can only accept qualifications which have been studied and passed within five years of the start date of any new programme. Any application must be made at least two weeks before the start of studies.
