Research suggests that employers find that many UK graduates are not yet ready for the world of graduate work. With this in mind, all of our undergraduate degree courses include modules that help to build upon vital attributes for student and graduate employability. Our courses are also designed closely with key employers to align with the needs and opportunity gaps in their industries.
Our scheduling of lectures and tutorials optimises the chance of meaningful part-time work. A part-time (voluntary) job in the right sector can help hone your understanding of business and help develop the graduate skills employers want to see upon graduation.

Once you are a student you will be able to access the Career Zone area of the VLE. It is full of resources to help you discover career options, plan how to get there and make the best first impressions on employers.
Once you complete your course, you will be able to switch your Career Zone to graduate access so you can keep using all it's great resources. If you HAVE already made this switch, please enter Career Zone through this link: Career Zone Alumni Access using the personal email address you signed up with. If you have NOT yet switched to Alumni access, please contact the employability team to arrange access so you can continue advancing your career.
