Emil Z – Master’s Scholarship Winner

One of those successful applicants is Emil, who was elated in being selected for a scholarship for his MBA (International). We spoke to him about his story and how he found his academic experience at ARU London.
“Eight years ago, I made the first steps into Supply Chain Industry, building my career from a Warehouse Operative position to an Area Coordinator leading to Area Manager. Currently, I am working for a major company within Supply Chain and Logistics industry as an Operations Manager. The hard work, dedication and responsibility have made me the human being I am today, and the theoretical knowledge that I built during my undergraduate studies made me the Manager that I am today. Searching for an undergraduate degree I found several options that were covering my preferred interests. The university of choice was Anglia Ruskin University London, from which I graduated with a First-Class degree in International Business Management, with Top Achiever awards in subjects like Business Economics or Business Strategy. All my achievements during my undergraduate studies I hope will demonstrate my academic ability to study at a postgraduate level. With a Master’s in Business Administration from ARU London, I’ll be one step closer to my ambitions, particularly with modules such as International Operations Management, International Leadership and Enterprise and Strategic Management in a Global Context.
I am grateful for the financial support I’ll receive with this scholarship, particularly as I am expecting my first child and will need to provide for my family. A discount in my tuition fees will massively reduce the financial stress of starting a family, allowing me to focus more on my studies. The difference in course fees will allow me more time for research and study so I can focus on my academic success and career goals.
Between my academic and work experience I have developed skills in management, leadership, HR processes and target-orientated thinking. Following the MBA course, I would like to pursue my research interest in the areas of Strategic management and New Venture development. I will be considering a PhD in these areas and have huge aspirations that maybe one day I could become the Head of Supply Chain in an important Supply Chain company! Thanks to ARU London for getting me closer to my ambitions.”
