ARU London Welcomes Alumni for Exclusive Networking Event – An Evening of Inspiration and Professional Insights

On 4th March 2025, ARU London proudly hosted its first-ever Alumni Networking Event, bringing together former students and current learners for an evening of inspiration, networking, and career insights. 

The event was a celebration of the achievements of the alumni panelists and enjoyed by students, recent graduates and lecturers in attendance. With students actively engaging in discussions and gaining first-hand knowledge from alumni who have successfully transitioned from university to professional life. Alumni shared their personal journeys, reflecting on the challenges they faced, securing graduate roles, and the key skills needed to thrive in the workplace. 

Key themes throughout the evening included work readiness, the importance of work experience, mentorship, the value of a strong LinkedIn presence, diversity in the workplace, and the differences between careers in the public and private sectors. Many alumni also generously offered to mentor students, provide career support, and recommend them for job opportunities. 

This event marks the beginning of a strong alumni and student network at ARU London, reinforcing the university’s commitment to career development, industry engagement, and lifelong learning.
