On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th, ARUL held an Enterprise Showcase featuring students and alumni from the university. They came to show students and staff all the inspiring businesses they had developed and were running alongside their studies. Participating businesses were:
Soreal Muller: Produces nonalcoholic, Ginger based wine aimed at maximizing the health benefits of its component ingredients, perfect for parties or a mid-week wind down.
AndRuz Studio: Produces decorations, sculptures and three-dimensional works from Jesmonite, an eco-friendly alternative to ceramics. A great gift for any occasion.

Innocent Vegan Store: Produces all natural, vegan friendly makeup products. An excellent alternative to less environmentally friendly products.
Hazu Digital: A creative, digital media consultancy firm offering a variety of services, from mentorship to social media strategy. A great way for a start up to get up and running.

Know My Culture: A one stop shop to learn about new cultures, and purchase multi-merchandise. Perfect for those seeking to learn, or those far from home who want something they are familiar with. A great way to learn something new, or keep connected to your roots.
This event was well attended, with the showcase particularly busy during lunch time. There were a lot of fantastic conversations being had as student were not only interested in the products on offer, but the journeys of our budding entrepreneurs. It was also an excellent networking opportunity for students, but also the entrepreneurs themselves, with conversations being had on the subject of collaboration more than once.
In conclusion, this was a highly successful event, thoroughly enjoyed by both business owners and the wider student body. All expressed how much they enjoyed it and all expressed an interest in returning for a similar event in the future.
