We are delighted to announce that Professor Olivier Sparagano has joined ARUL as our Director of HE Compliance. Olivier has been working in HE (UK, The Netherlands, China) for over 30 years after his PhD in immunoparasitology at the Institut Pasteur de Lyon, France. Olivier previously held senior positions as Dean, Deputy Provost, and Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor, bringing a lot of experience from the UK HE sector. He is also a world-renowned scientist who is in the Top 2% most cited scientists’ list from Stanford University, and he has published over 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications. He has been a Fellow of many organisations (HEA, RSB, RES, STVM, CMI), and he was appointed to the membership of a Knight of the Royal Oak in 2025. Olivier will be working closely with our Principal to support the future strategic direction of ARU London.
