ARU recently held the Alumni Awards Ceremony, which was held at our Chelmsford campus, and was compered by Prof Aletta Norval, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education). During the course of the ceremony, ARU celebrated seven winners and eight runners up. ARU were delighted to celebrate a number of inspirational success stories from our alumni at the Vice Chancellor’s Outstanding Alumni Awards. Alumni who have achieved success and made a difference in their careers and lives returned to ARU for an awards celebration.
One ARU London student, Ted Lawlor was a finalist in the Vice Chancellor’s Outstanding Alumni Award. In his first year at ARU, Ted Lawlor started the social media group If Only They Knew for young entrepreneurs which quickly evolved into an award winning platform featuring on ITV. Since then, Ted has continued his venture, with the If Only They Knew Podcast being named ‘Best Business Podcast of The Year’ in 2022. Ted is on a mission to help as many young people as he can and recently co-authored The Manifestation Journal with his former therapist.
