ARU London – Live Brief with Dora Sweet & Savoury
Supporting local businesses is at the heart of our Live Brief project, and we're excited to continue building meaningful partnerships within our community.
Recently, we've had the pleasure of partnering with Dora Sweet and Savoury, a family-run local café. Working closely with Anton, the owner, our students have gained first-hand insight into the realities of building and growing a successful business.
Anton has generously shared his entrepreneurial journey from developing the initial idea for the café to navigating the challenges of launching and running a business. More recently, he's involved our students in discussions around introducing new menu items, giving them the opportunity to explore customer needs, and business decision-making in a real-world setting.
By collaborating directly with local business owners like Anton, our students are developing practical skills, applying their learning beyond the classroom, and seeing how business concepts come to life in practice. At the same time, we're proud to provide fresh ideas, research, and business-focused support that can add value to our local business community.
