CV and cover letter session delivered to first-year law students, Tuesday 29th, 5-6pm.
This session was delivered at the invitation of Employer Engagement to Law students, in order to help them begin searching for work experience early, as finding a training contract in the current climate is highly competitive. There were 11 students in attendance in all, with 4 online and 7 attending in person. Discussed was an ideal CV and the sort of content that should be included in it.
After that, a model cover letter was analysed, followed by a question and answer session. Students were engaged and asked intelligent and well-thought-out questions. In the end, the session even ran slightly over because the students were asking so many questions! We are glad to see so many of you engaged in our career sessions and we hope to see you all at the next session we host!
