Monday 19 September, the date of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral, will be a national bank holiday. This will allow us to pay our respects and commemorate Her Majesty’s reign.
The first day of the trimester was scheduled for Saturday 17 September, both Saturday and Monday (19 September) will no longer have classes.
To accommodate the bank holiday and to ensure that our students do not lose any contact time the trimester dates will be adjusted to the following:
- First day of the trimester: Tuesday 20 September
- Last day of the trimester: Monday 12 December
Students will be notified by email, text, and social media, and their timetables adjusted accordingly.
All teaching academics will be able to access updated timetables via the VLE from Thursday onwards.
