20, 22, 29 July 2023 Rail strikes
We have been notified that The RMT Union has announced strike action that will affect several train operating companies on Thursday 20 July, Saturday 22 July and Saturday 29 July.
This is predicted to cause severe travel disruption and, in many cases, will prevent students and academics from attending classes.
To ensure that your education is protected, and the full 12 weeks of content time can be accommodated, we have no option but to move to a virtual classroom. A Zoom link will be visible on your module page on the VLE for you to connect to your class.
Should you need assistance accessing Zoom, please visit our Learning Resources Centre in person at either East India campus (Import Building) or the Charterhouse campus or via the LRC Zoom link on the VLE.
We will make every effort to keep both our campuses open should you need to use the facilities or use a PC to connect to the virtual classroom.
