A spotlight on the Student Peer Mentoring Programme
Have you heard about our Student Peer Mentoring Programme? Level 5 and 6 students can provide Level 3 and Level 4 students (mentees) with support and guidance during their first year at ARU London.
There are countless benefits of the programme and it is a great way of building leadership and career skills!
Our Level 3 and Level 4 students can benefit from the guidance and support of peer mentors’, who are more experienced in their learning journey. Peer mentors can also help to ensure the learning experience is positive and share strategies to overcome challenges associated with adjusting to university life.
Our Peer Mentor Skills Development Training sessions have been taking place throughout October and November. Sessions include information on how to best signpost mentees and deal with queries concerning DOS, the employability department and more.
Our next session for Student Peer Mentors and their mentees will take place on Tuesday 25th of October. This will be a Skills and Knowledge Development Training Session in East India. There will be talks from multiple departments from various student services and departments, followed by a Q and A session. Following this, another session will take place on the 2nd of November at our Charterhouse Campus.
