Student Peer Mentoring Training Session: 2nd November
On the 2nd of November, we had our second Student Peer Mentor Skills and Knowledge Development Training Session with our ARU London Student Peer Mentors. We were joined by key members from Disability and Inclusion, Learning Resource Centre, and Student Finance teams. Student Peer Mentors appreciated the knowledge the session gave them to pass on to their mentees about services across the university as well as networking with their peers!
The peer mentors found the information covered during the training session very informative, one peer mentor commented, 'this is good, a lot of information to pass onto my mentees'. Other peer mentors were unanimous in that they benefited, they felt at ease with the interactions and were able to ask a range of questions.
We are pleased to announce we are now recruiting for our next intake of Student Peer Mentors.
