We kicked off the academic year with a bang as new and returning students joined us for an unforgettable Welcome Week from September 12th to 15th, 2023, hosted by your ARU London Students' Union. This exciting event set the stage for a year filled with growth, opportunities, and memorable experiences.
During Welcome Week, students had the incredible opportunity to meet our Vice Presidents, Tamika and Hasan. These student leaders are here to represent your interests, ensuring that your voice is heard and your university experience is exceptional. Their warm welcomes set the tone for the week ahead.
Our dedicated Students' Union staff were on hand to provide guidance, answer questions, and help you navigate your first steps into university life. Whether you needed advice on academics, student life, or anything in between, our team was there to support you every step of the way.
Welcome Week was a chance to explore endless opportunities for your student experience. We had advice stalls where you could seek expert guidance on various aspects of university life. From choosing the right courses to understanding your career prospects, these stalls were your go-to for valuable insights.
Various university departments were on hand to showcase the array of support services available to you. Whether you need academic assistance, counseling, or career guidance, ARU London is committed to providing you with the support you need to succeed.
Welcome Week wasn't just about information and introductions; it was also about having fun! Students got in on the action with a lineup of exciting activities, complete with chances to win prizes. Plus, there were plenty of Instagram-worthy moments to capture and share with your new friends.
Activities took place at both our Farringdon and Charterhouse sites, ensuring that all students could participate and enjoy the festivities. No matter which campus you call home, you were part of the ARU London Welcome Week celebration.
