Top Achiever Award: Arun
My name is Arun Indrajith Karunasen and I am pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Finance and Accounting. My ultimate goal is to become a Chartered Accountant, and the core modules I am currently studying will provide me with exemptions from ACCA, which will be beneficial for my career advancement. I am grateful to be studying at ARU London, where I have access to high-quality and relevant programmes of study.
I am proud to have received the Top Achiever award twice in a row, and this year, I was also awarded the scholarship for 2022/2023. This recognition is a testament to my exceptional performance and dedication, with the guidance of my lecturers. It has motivated me to strive for even greater accomplishments in the future.
My plan is to graduate with a first-class degree and then pursue the Graduate Audit scheme at either KPMG or PwC. I am thankful to ARU London for providing me with the opportunity to get closer to my dream job!
The Top Achiever Awards are scholarships of £2000 and take place each trimester to celebrate the success of the top-performing students from each module of each school. Top Achievers are the highest performing students in their modules, and as a Top Achiever, students can access a personal reference from their Head of School when applying for a postgraduate degree or any job role.
