Aura-Georgiana Ciobanu
MSc Accounting and Financial Management
As part of our commitment to student development and experience, we offer a range of Scholarships to our postgraduate students. This includes our Master's Scholarship Programme, where students have the chance to receive up to 50% off their Master’s Degree.
We have asked some of the winners of our scholarship to reflect on their journey to help others considering the same path.
What motivated you to pursue a Master’s degree?
I chose to pursue a Master’s degree because I want to build on the strong foundation I developed during my Finance and Accounting undergraduate studies. A postgraduate degree allows me to transition from a primarily compliance‑focused role to a more strategic, analytical, and advisory position where I can support clients with broader financial decision‑making and long‑term growth.
In what ways has ARUL’s 50% / 20% scholarship supported your educational goals?
Receiving 50% funding has reduced the financial pressure of continuing my education while balancing professional responsibilities and family commitments. The scholarship is not just financial support; it is a vote of confidence that motivates me to excel and make the most of this opportunity.
What impact do you hope to make after completing your degree in your chosen field?
After completing my degree, I aim to make a meaningful impact by offering integrated financial, tax, and strategic advisory services to individuals and businesses. I hope to contribute to a more transparent, ethical, and well‑governed financial environment and to become a trusted consultant who empowers clients to navigate complex financial challenges with confidence.
