Awura-Abena Aidoo
Master of Public Health
As part of our commitment to student development and experience, we offer a range of Scholarships to our postgraduate students. This includes our Master's Scholarship Programme, where students have the chance to receive up to 50% off their Master’s Degree.
We have asked some of the winners of our scholarship to reflect on their journey to help others considering the same path.
What motivated you to pursue a Master’s degree?
I was inspired by my desire to improve health outcomes all over the world by preventing diet-related illnesses. I knew that a master’s degree would give me the knowledge and skills, the professional credibility and the networks to achieve my career goals.
In what ways has ARUL’s 50% / 20% scholarship supported your educational goals?
Currently being unemployed, this scholarship has reduced financial burden associated with my master’s degree. This will enable me to prioritise my academic work and studies more.
What impact do you hope to make after completing your degree in your chosen field?
After completing the Master of Public Health, I hope to contribute to improving public health outcomes through effective health communication, advocacy, and community engagement. I am particularly interested in translating complex health and nutrition information into clear, accessible messages that empower individuals and communities to make informed decisions about their health.
