Why did you choose to study for a master’s degree?
I chose to study a master’s degree because I reached a certain point in my life where I wanted more for myself and my career. I realised that I enjoy learning, growing, and challenging my limits, and a master’s degree felt like the right step to do that. It always allows me to build confidence in my abilities, gain deeper knowledge in my field, and put myself in a stronger position for the future I’m working towards.
What made you apply for a scholarship?
I applied for a scholarship because it represents both opportunity and belief. Pursuing a master’s degree is a meaningful step for me, but it also comes with financial responsibilities that can be very challenging. The scholarship would allow me to focus fully on my studies without constant financial pressure. More importantly, it feels like recognition of the effort I’ve put into my journey so far and encouragement to keep striving for excellence. It motivates me to work harder, give back in the future and make the most of the opportunity I’ve been given.
How has ARUL helped you with this 50% scholarship?
ARU London’s scholarship has played a very significant role in making my academic goals achievable. The financial support has reduced the pressure associated with my postgraduate studies and also allowed me to focus more fully on my learning and personal development. Knowing that the university believes in my potential has also been incredibly motivating. This support has given me the confidence to commit to my studies wholeheartedly, work harder and make the most of the opportunities available to me during my time at ARU London.
What do you hope to achieve after your degree?
After completing my master’s degree, I hope to build a strong career in Accounting and Finance where I can apply what I’ve learned to make a real impact. I want to develop professionally, take on challenging roles and contribute meaningfully to the organisations I will be working with. Beyond career success, I also hope to continue learning, growing, and using my skills to create opportunities for myself and others.
