What have you studied/will you be studying here at ARU London?
I am currently studying MSc International Project Management at ARU London. This course allows me to build on the foundation I established during my undergraduate studies in Business Management: Marketing, where I graduated with First Class Honours. My goal is to reach my maximum potential both academically and professionally, and this master’s degree is the next step in expanding my knowledge and unlocking new career opportunities.
Why did you choose to study for a master's degree?
Pursuing a master’s degree has always been a personal aspiration. I knew I had the determination, passion, and academic ability to succeed, and I wanted to achieve a lifelong goal that would enhance both my career prospects and personal development. For me, it’s not just about a qualification — it’s about becoming the best version of myself and being ready to take on leadership opportunities in my field.
What made you apply for a scholarship?
During my undergraduate degree, I faced significant challenges — including having my laptop stolen with three years’ worth of work just before submitting my dissertation. I didn’t let this defeat me; instead, I started fresh at another university and still graduated with First Class Honours. I applied for the scholarship not just for financial support, but because I wanted to share my story and hopefully inspire others to persevere through adversity. The scholarship also helped ease tuition costs and contributed towards funding future ventures I’m working on.
How has ARUL helped you with this 50% scholarship?
Receiving this scholarship from ARUL has been deeply encouraging. I felt supported, heard, and empowered — and that kind of backing makes a huge difference when working towards lifelong ambitions. Financially, it eased some of the pressures I faced as a student, allowing me to stay focused on my studies and future plans.
What do you hope to achieve after your degree?
After completing my Master’s, I aim to build a career in Project Management where I can apply my knowledge and skills to real-world projects. In the long term, I also hope to achieve a major personal goal: launching my own organisation, where I can continue to grow and give back.
