My name is Dalila De Carvalho, and I am currently building my own luxury fashion brand focused on elegant, sophisticated, and contemporary womenswear and accessories. My entrepreneurial journey started from my passion for fashion, creativity, and the desire to create a brand that reflects confidence, femininity, and timeless style.
I have always been inspired by luxury fashion and visual storytelling. Over time, I realised that I wanted to transform my ideas into something meaningful and create a brand identity that connects fashion, elegance, and modern lifestyle aesthetics. Mike and the Enterprise Team have been very supportive throughout this process. Their encouragement, guidance, and motivation have helped me gain more confidence in developing my ideas and thinking more strategically about my business goals and future direction. My course at ARU London has also helped me develop important skills that connect strongly with my entrepreneurial ambitions, especially in areas such as communication, business development, creativity, branding, and professional growth. It has encouraged me to think more independently and build a clearer vision for my future career.
My advice to other students interested in entrepreneurship would be to believe in their ideas, stay consistent, and not be afraid to start even if everything is not perfect in the beginning. Building something meaningful takes time, patience, and resilience, but passion and determination make a big difference.
