Dovile Vekteryte, an MBA graduate in Health and Social Care, now contributes her expertise to the Home Office as a Civil Servant in the Human Rights Department. Her journey from academia to policymaking reflects her dedication to improving mental health and rehabilitation services. Asked about her choice to pursue a postgraduate course at ARU London, Dovile recounted dissatisfaction with her previous job, prompting a desire to delve into a field she was passionate about. Despite the challenges, she believed it's never too late to pursue one's dreams.
Throughout her course, Dovile found unwavering support from her teachers and peers, who assisted her whenever needed. She also highlighted the invaluable support received from student services, particularly from lecturers who dedicated time to review her drafts and offered assistance during tough times. The iCentre provided crucial technical support, while the employability team boosted her confidence for job interviews upon course completion.
Reflecting on her postgraduate journey, Dovile emphasised how it enhanced her knowledge of Business Administration in Health and Social Care, expanding her career opportunities.
